Ah, New York . . . our visit was far too short but we packed a lot into our brief time there! Coney Island was one of the highlights for sure, and gave us lots of inspiration for our Renegade booth, which we were already planning to do in an old school carnival theme.
And our pilgrimage out to Flushing to see Joseph Cornell's house was well worth the hellish subway trip plus half hour walk. We actually got to meet the current homeowners, who happened to be outside when we walked by.
And of course, we had a great time celebrating with the birthday girl and good friends from both coasts. A special thank you to locals Leti, Michael, Anshuman, and Sarah for taking us under their wing!
Just a quick post to wish you all a happy Memorial Day weekend! We are off to New York to celebrate our good friend Maya's 30th birthday, a lesser known holiday we like to call 'Mayamorial Day'!

I went through a phase, which rather recently ended, where I wore the same little stud earrings every day. (Three in each ear to be exact--Matthew blames it on the last waning influence of my gothier days.) Well that phase has happily ended, and thanks to the lovely work of Etsy sellers like Porterness and Tweet Sweet, I don't think it's likely to return. Both of these ladies make adorable handcrafted jewelry and I get tons of complements every time I wear their work. Click on the links above to get your own!

Lots of exciting things are going on here at Treatzone! We're adding new items to our etsy shop tomorrow to coincide with our participation in Poppytalk Handmade's Paper Pops market, and we just found out we'll have a booth at Renegade's debut in San Francisco this summer. We're so excited but we've got a lot of work ahead of us, so you may not see too much of us around town as we go into hermit mode to create and burrow . . .
The first run of Little Zero shirts will be on sale soon!
