More New Treats!

This weekend we gocco printed a new series of moleskine designs, based on some of our favorite things: roller skates, bikes, vintage notebooks, and more. We'll be bringing them to Renegade next weekend, but in the meantime you can see the full series here.

Our Coronet

It seems we're waxing poetic about our equipment this week! We've been inspired by Janine of Uppercase to sing the praises of our trusty Smith-Corona for Typewriter Week. We definitely share her love of these beauties, and our Coronet plays a big role in adding detail to our stationery, like our index card sets. It's pretty time-consuming to type text on each and every card, but definitely worth it. (And we'd love to add to our family . . . I'm totally jealous of the Royal our friend Shannon scored recently. It types cursive!)

Devoted to Gocco

We only got our gocco a year ago, but could the love affair already be over? Apparently Riso just stopped making the machines, and although we heard supplies were supposed to be available for another five years, it seems they are already hard to come by. Say it ain't so! We have a little reserve of screens and bulbs, but are starting to get nervous. If anyone has the lowdown—or a secret supplier—please let us know! (In the meantime it looks like we may need to reconsider Plan A: letterpress. Just as lovely but not nearly as convenient.)

Broadway Paper

We just shipped out a wholesale order to the lovely Tracie of Broadway Paper, who found us through this blog post by the equally lovely Mary of Suffix Abuse. It's exciting to send a batch of our cards and notebooks all the way to Milwaukee, as well as see the list of shops with our treats grow!

So if you live in the area, we hope you'll stop by. I'm a little sad that I can't go myself, because it definitely looks like the kind of place where a paper junkie could spend hours.

Almost Ready

We just finished putting the final touches on our goods for Renegade . . . typed text and white charcoal details and such. Now we just have to package it all up, which always ends up being more than we bargained for. But the end is in sight! If you live in the Bay Area we hope you'll swing by Fort Mason on the 12th & 13th and say hello! We're also excited to announce that we'll be doing a Renegade recap for Poppytalk. We'll be sure and let you know when our post is up!
