When It Rains It Pours

I was treated to another super-sweet shower by my coworkers at Chronicle Books, right before I started my maternity leave in September of last year. And while we didn't know it at the time, it also was a farewell party since I decided not to return to the office after Dylan was born. Matthew and I don't talk much about our day jobs here, I guess since this site is about our personal work, but it seems wrong not to acknowledge a place that was such a big part of my life for the last six years. So a big thank you to all my Chronicle peeps for being so amazing and inspiring and teaching me so much! You'll always have a special place in my heart for sure.

(And of course, all the details of the shower were picture-perfect, from blue mini cupcakes to striped straws to white lambrusco! Thank you again for such a lovely send off.)
