Lightswitch

Where I grew up (mainly Alexandria VA and Lakewood CO), the end of summer always brought upon a feeling not unlike Sunday nights, when school or work looms prominently. Saying goodbye to the freedom of t-shirt weather was something I never really loved, yet could always appreciate. Gloomy but glorious (gloominous?) nostalgia would often emerge during these times and have a way of creating what I like to call "quiet places". All the more reason I loved hearing the new EP track Lightswitch by VA-based Eternal Summers, quite a lovely and "quiet place" indeed.

Equally lovely album art above by Sarah Everton (couldn't find her website, though).
