Knockout Girl Samantha Hahn

I was so lucky to meet Samantha Hahn when she visited California a few months ago! Not only is she an incredibly talented illustrator and surface pattern designer, but she's a sweetheart to boot. I've been meaning to post her work for ages, but I must admit I've been a bit overwhelmed by all the great images to choose from: knockout girls, theiving birds, and so much more. It's no wonder that Glamour and Craft magazines are keeping her busy with illustration assignments, and yet she somehow still finds time to keep her lovely blog Maquette updated regularly as well. With posts on vintage balloon photos and old timey men's bathing suits, in addition to craft and design, Samantha's a girl after our own heart!

(And speaking of hearts, we are super-honored to have a piece in the "Love" book that Samantha curated. More details soon!)
